Taming The Mess 		On this site, and in my classes, you will hear me talk about Being On The Same Team with your kids rather than on opposite sides of a war you are determined to win.  This is very much at odds with conventional discipline ideas.  Conventional discipline usually assumes that you are in conflict with your kids, rather than on their side; but this does not create the family you want!  You want a family where everyone trusts each other, loves each other and follows wise direction willingly.  You cannot get this by being on the opposite side of a warzone.  When has a war ever helped two sides trust each other?

Terra Carlson has been teaching Positive Discipline for 8 years. She resides in Seattle with 2 lovely sons, Dakota 11 years old, Ian 7 years old, and her devoted partner in life, Mike.
 Welcome to the home of Positive Discipline online classes!  Learn to have healthy boundaries with your child, learn how to manage tantrums and learn to teach your child self control.

I teach both by phone and in my online classroom.  If you are in the Seattle area, you may schedule an in-person lesson or class for yourself and other parents in your circle of friends or in your organization. 

I offer reasonable individual, group and sliding scale fees.  Spouses are always welcome at no additional cost.
